Chantilly, September 2016.
Zagato played the leading role at the third international Chantilly Arts & Elegance 2016. The Elegance contest confirmed its international character, with the presence of almost 100 collectible automobiles, divided into 21 classes, three of which were reserved for Zagato cars.
In front of Chantilly Castle, the Milanese coach builder unveiled in world premiere the MV Agusta F4Z, created together with the motorcycle manufacturer from Varese. Commissioned by a Japanese collector, a real lover of contemporary Zagato cars and Italian bikes, it embodies the Zagato philosophy applied outside the Brand’s traditional field of expression: the Motorcar. The F4Z goes beyond the rules meant for custom-made motorcycles and transforms a production vehicle into a collectible, an "Atelier motorbike" that, perfectly in line with the Zagato tradition, sports an entirely new bespoke body over original mechanics. In appreciation of the values that inspired it, the MV AGUSTA F4Z was awarded the Special Prize by the international Jury, composed of more than 50 authoritative members of both the car and culture worlds.
